Harvesting and processing
The basis of our quality lies in the careful selection and processing of the tea leaves. Only the top leaf bud with the two following leaves are picked - "two leaves and a bud".
Depending on the type of tea, the leaves are processed differently and undergo multiple visual and sensory checks. In this way, we ensure that only the best qualities are included in our range.
From the plantation to your home
Control & transportation
Before purchasing each batch of tea, our experts check the raw materials using samples from the country of origin. After sea transportation to Hamburg, a further quality check is carried out - from the condition of the packaging to the taste of the tea batches.
Only teas that meet our high standards are sent for further processing.
Fresh, authentic and full of character
Blending & packaging
To ensure consistently high quality, selected batches of tea are combined to create harmonious blends. Foreign substances are removed using special cleaning processes before the tea is filled into flavor-safe packaging.
Each product undergoes a final tasting and quality check in accordance with EU standards before it is released.
