Founded in 1912, the coffee roaster J. Hornig in Graz is now managed by the 4th generation of the Hornig family. As a speciality roasting house we swear by the traditional drum roasting method. Why? With this gentle process, we put original Austrian roasting techniques and years of experience to use so that we can fully extract the taste potential of our coffee beans. We give our little darlings time, a lot of time. A “drum roll” can take up to 20 minutes – but it’s worth the wait. The longer roasting time allows for low roasting temperatures. Our drums reach a temperature of 200 degrees at maximum. And our experienced roasting masters can also vary the temperature, allowing them to adapt the process to the individual qualities of each kind of bean and create sophisticated roasting profiles. Our experts also make regular checks of the roasting degree, acidity and taste. That way, we can ensure that every cup of coffee becomes an incomparable pleasure for the senses. This perfect Austrian coffee experience has been available in Ireland for some time now. Ireland also has a strong coffee culture and many coffee connoisseurs. Offer your guests the incomparable quality, taste and café atmosphere of Austria. If you serve mocha and Americano as well as espresso, coffee crème and filter coffee, you will stand out even more. And leave your guests with an experience to treasure. Give your guests the gift of perfect coffee moments; become an ambassador of a refined coffee culture that is beloved the world over.
