Café Intención was established in 2004 based on the intention of giving something back to the coffee farmers and the regions of their origin. In 1993, J.J. Darboven was the first supplier of fair-trade coffee in the German market, which today plays a major role in the fact that Fairtrade coffee is no longer a niche product. In particular, younger consumers are placing increasing value and importance on fair-trade products and are also prepared to pay a higher price for this, offering new potential for your business.

Naturally, the respective seal has to be on the Fairtrade coffees, however, this is not easily obtained. Only if coffee farmers, dealers and roasters meet the strict guidelines in cooperation, will the seal be found on the packaging.
