What should you look out for when buying?
Power and pressure: For perfect extraction, you need at least 9 bar pump pressure. Also pay attention to the wattage - from around 800 watts you are well positioned in the professional sector. Higher power means faster processes, especially at peak times.
Single-group or multi-group: Small business with a focus on snacks and breakfast? Then a single-group model is often sufficient. High frequency in day-to-day business? With two or more groups, you can serve efficiently even when it's busy - without any loss of quality.
Two-circuit system or dual boiler: For consistently good results with espresso and milk foam, a model with separate water circuits is recommended. This gives you flexibility and allows you to prepare several drinks at the same time at the highest level.

How to keep your machine in top condition
A clean appliance is the basis for consistently good taste - and the be-all and end-all for longevity.
Water quality: Use filtered, medium-hard water. This prevents limescale deposits and preserves the full aroma.
Flushing & cleaning: Rinse briefly after each use. Daily cleaning prevents residues and preserves the taste.
Descaling: Necessary at regular intervals - depending on the local water hardness.
