Tradition meets craftsmanship

What does a portafilter machine stand for?

Unmistakable aroma & precise control

Portafilter machines stand for authentic coffee enjoyment like hardly any other type of machine. They are a true classic in the catering industry - not only because of their unmistakable aroma, but also because of the precise control over every brewing process. Do you want to offer your guests the perfect coffee experience? Then it's worth taking a look at this professional technology.

Portafilter machines were originally developed in Italy - for the art of the perfect espresso. With water at around 90 °C and high pressure, fine ground coffee is transformed into an intense drink with a velvety crema. The barista is in control every step of the way - ideal for anyone who wants to prepare quality with awareness.

Fresh espresso pours from a chrome coffee machine spout, creating steam in a stylish kitchen setting.

Is a portafilter machine worthwhile for your business?

Great coffee quality and enthusiastic guests

If coffee is part of your range - and you want it to be more than just a standard drink - a portafilter machine is a worthwhile investment. Especially with high-quality coffees such as Fairtrade or organic varieties, the full potential unfolds through manual preparation.

Tips, care & service Because good technology makes the difference

Good to know What should you look out for when buying?

  • Power and pressure: For perfect extraction, you need at least 9 bar pump pressure. Also pay attention to the wattage - from around 800 watts you are well positioned in the professional sector. Higher power means faster processes, especially at peak times.
  • Single-group or multi-group: Small business with a focus on snacks and breakfast? Then a single-group model is often sufficient. High frequency in day-to-day business? With two or more groups, you can serve efficiently even when it's busy - without any loss of quality.
  • Two-circuit system or dual boiler: For consistently good results with espresso and milk foam, a model with separate water circuits is recommended. This gives you flexibility and allows you to prepare several drinks at the same time at the highest level.
